Each company is setup with a separate mailnode using the addhost SAC plugins provided.
From the WIKI documentationn on Hosted Mailnodes:
Each company has its own Public Folder view
Each hosted company has its own view of the Scalix Public Folders (Bulletin Board Area).
When a hosted company is added a Public Folder for that company is added as a top-level Public Folder. The permissions set on this Public Folder ensure that this is only folder visible to the hosted company.
By default any user of a hosted company can create a Public sub-folder under their top-level Public folder and add items to any Public folder within their view.
This seems to be accomplished by setting the 'default' permission to none.
However, according to notes in the WIKI for configuring email from external addresses to a second-level folder, it seems that I need to set both the Organization's top-level and second-level Public Folder 'default' permissions to 'create' and 'attach'. But this also makes the folders visible for other companies on other mailnodes.
In Outlook the other organization's main Public Folder is visible, but access is denied when I try to open it, in IMAP all top and second level folders are completely visible, only the content of the folders are hidden.
Has anyone else run into this?
How do I enable external email to one organization/mailnode's Public Folder without exposing the folder to other organization/mailnodes on the server? What are the proper permission settings to make this happen?
