I see the following in my pgstartup.log even after I resorted to former pg_hba.conf and restarting (this is the original pg_hba.conf). I am restarting with
/etc/init.d/scalix-postgres restart as root
I get this in the log:

I changed the pg_hba.conf to try to resolve the FATAL errors. I'm afraid now that postgres is not happy. How do I ensure that it is happy? someone? Please?
I feel that nobody is responding to my questions today. Need help with a couple of errors - they all might be the same symptom of our slowness.. or maybe they are separate problems. In any case, I don't like what I see.
