Scalix smarthost-> TMDA spam filter ->Internet

Hi All

I have a qmail/tmda prefilter which then forwards all mail to scalix. I need to be able to route all scalix outbound mail via "smarthost" back to the tmda prefilter using port 8025 and I need to "authenicate" to the qmail/tmda prefilter. This is necessary so the TMDA filter can "whitelist " outbound mail.

I think this needs to be defined in the sendmail.mc file and configure a new sendmail.cf file. However all I have managed to do is totally mangle my existing sendmail.cf and destroy my scalix server.

Does anyone have any information and good directions to acomplish this?

Hi Andy,

It sounds like you were on the right track by modifing your sendmail.mc file and recompiling your sendmail.cf. Once you've done that though you need to run

omsendin

to get the necessary Scalix modifications back in your sendmail.cf.
