Recovery Folder and Community Edition

Postby kmcelwain » Fri Nov 09, 2007 10:43 pm

I was just wondering if Recovery Folders are possible in the community edition. We are using a licensed version 10.0.1.21, so I don't think recovery folders are available in that edition, or am I wrong?

recovery folders are available from scalix 11.0 onwards, for sbe and ee. They are disabled in community edition. While we are always adding functionality to the product in all editions, it has always been our biz strategy to add more stuff to the commercial versions, and thats one example...

You guys should really advertise the rescue folder. School systems everywhere are having to buy archive products just to comply with federal regulations. Are you guys aware of the new regulations?

I completely understand the business model and I am more than happy to continue to be a happy customer.

Karl,

thanks for your comment; the recovery folder, however, does not really qualify as a compliant archiving solution. Next to our archiving interface, we're planning to offer integrated functionality in the area next year.

Cheers,
Florian.
