Can not create new ID

I had an ID on my server which was deleted using omdelu command.

Now when I am trying to create same ID I get the following error.

"Can not create a new user with a name that already exists at the selected node"

I haev checked the user id using omshowu command it does noty show up.

Please advice.

Try a omsearch -e s=surname/g=firstname/cn=commonname and see if it shows up. If so, use omdelent to delete the entry.

I was able to recreate the ID after deleting the User directory as well.
