Scalix 11.0.2.23
After switching to Scalix 10 months ago, most of the company management and admin staff ditched MS Outlook in favor of Thunderbird. It is not that they liked TB as much as MS Outlook was too slow. This group is heaviest email users in the company with largest accounts. SWA could not handle big email accounts to their satisfaction, so they ended up with TB. 80% of them are mobile device users as well.
Here is a problem: scalix does not support calendar sync on Thunderbird (I am aware of read only lightening option) or mobile devices. it is obvious, that luck of calendar full functionality becomes more and more detrimental to the business.
I've no clear picture on how soon Scalix will have these capabilities: sync with Thunderbird and/or mobile devices. There are some external calendar services, http://www.scheduleworld.com one of them, that might provide what I need.
So, what are my options? Thanks for your input.
