Need Help please, very urgent !!!! Scalix do not sent mails

Hello,

we use scalix with mailwasher and clamav. But the spam-quote of mailwasher is not very good, so we decide to change to dspam.
The last days we use both spamfilters parallel. Today we stopped mailwasher but now we have the problem that to mail will be sent outgoing. (Receiving works fine).

All mails will queued in "Internal mail gateway" queue.

What have we done:

in /etc/sendmail.mc and /etc/mail/linux.mc we delete:
INPUT_MAIL_FILTER(`mailwasher_server', `S=unix:/var/run/mwserver/mpd.sock, F=T, T=S:4m;R:4m')
define(`confINPUT_MAIL_FILTERS', `mailwasher_server')

m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

smtpd.cfg we delete SMTPFILTER=TRUE

omsendin
stopping mwd and restarting sendmail, scalix and tomcat.

After this the problems begin. We receive mails, we can send mails internal but not outside. All will be queued in Internet Mail Gateway.

So we decide to go back to mailwasher. But now we have the same problems (receive but not send). In /var/log/mail we have no logs for outgoing mails.....

Hi,

On the Scalix server can you telnet to localhost on port 25, and get Sendmail? If you get Sendmail, can you run through the standard SMTP command sequence and get a message out?

The fastest fix will be to look for an old copy of sendmail.cf. Rename it from sendmail.cf.3 (or whatever) to sendmail.cf. Choose one from before you made any changes.

Then restart sendmail.

If mail can then be sent successfully, then just to be sure, run omsendin. It might not be neccessary, but you never know. It'll tell you if the Scalix entries are already in place.
