Login to SAC

Postby chewynet » Tue Jul 17, 2007 1:44 pm

Hi

I'm getting an error trying to login to the SAC with the user sxadmin. I can login to the webmail with this user. The password is correct, the user exists. I get this strange "LDAP: error code 34 - invalid DN" in the logs. Any pointers?

The output of scalix-caa.log is:

I have another instance of LDAP running for Samba/Linux authentication. I changed the default ports for scalix as described in
http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... t_from_389
My guess is that something else needs changing, that it may be trying to bind against the default port 389 rather than its new port 8389. That would certainly be the wrong DN.
Would this be the case?

Thanks
Patrick

There was indeed! What a pilock I am :) I had initially just ran a locate for the files in question. and I had edited the resultants, except they were they were in the /opt/scalix/web/template/ folder not the /var/opt/scalix/mt folder. Must have run an updatedb before they were created.

Cheers all

Patrick
