Default Scalix 11 smtp ports

Assuming default install of Scalix 11 with sendmail.
1) Should be sendmail daemon running and listening on port 25 or should be omsmtpd listening on 25?
The problem I see on SUSE is that both daemons are trying to grab the port.

2) How is sending out to the internet done? Calling directly /usr/sbin/sendmail or via smtp to sendmail (or omsmtpd?)?

All I'm trying to understand how is receiving and sending done.

Both are on 25.

omsmtpd is for incoming and sendmail is used for outgoing (if I am correct)
