omscan shows items in OUT folder but empty

When omscan is run the output shows that some users have used space in their OUT folder but when you logon to webmail no content can be viewed. Most of the sizes are minimal but one user is showing 49mb, how can this be?

Scalix version 10.0.0.3.

Simon,

are you using the "active" mode in omscan? If you do not specify the "-A" switch, you are looking at cached, rather than real-time information.
Try running omscan -Avfx -U "Sharon Griffiths" to see if that reqports the correct foider size.
