Clustered Server using wrong name in outbound mails

Postby pete » Mon Apr 23, 2007 3:10 pm

HELP!

I have a Scalix 10.0.1.3 server clusted on two systems - call them mta2-a and mta2-b.
When a mail gets send from the primary (mta2-a), outbound mail appears to come from
mta2-a.domain.com. I've tried modifying the sendmail.mc with

Code: Select all

MASQUERADE_AS(`mta2.domain.com') dnl
FEATURE(masquerade_envelope)dnl
FEATURE(masquerade_entire_domain)dnl
MASQUERADE_DOMAIN(`domain.com')dnl
MASQUERADE_DOMAIN(`us.domain.com')dnl

But this does not appear to make a difference.

Due to the incorrect name on the From: header, other receiving Scalix servers are rejecting BB syncs, and my xport.hold directory is filling up.

Any ideas?

Oh, the orignal names of the server (before clustering) is mta2.domain.com

Never mind - I was using unix.mapper with a different sendmail.cf for outbound to not scan
for SPAM. I needed to change that one....

Now I just have to wait 4 days for the backlog to clear....
