virtualizing scalix and spam question

i installed ASSP..but everytime i reboot the box the settings are not saved...any ideas....

Change ownership for all files to nobody:nobody. Make sure the config file is set to use nobody as UID and GID. Should be like this:

We also are testing with XEN and have one productive scalix server in a xen VM.
How much memory do you have assigned to the VM ?

We have started with 384MB, and then 512MB and now 1GB, but the memory load is still sometimes 100%.

Scalix strongly recommends 1 GB of RAM. Webmail uses at least 256 MB of RAM IIRC.

We've tried it with less and seen memory usage spike on load. It's not so bad if connections are just POP/IMAP, but the scalix connector can spike at times. I expect his is mostly due to the encryption/decryption it's doing.

Even a installation with only 6 accounts seems to require 1GB, not very scalable when you wish to host several small business on one server.
