Hi;
OK, I have searched the forums and found some threads on adding public folders, so I have done this:
1) Created and used the sxadmin profile to add a new public folder named Support in Outlook (sub folder of public folders)
2) set the default permission to owner (just to be sure that everyone has access for testing only)
3) executed the following: omaddent -e "S=+BB/CN=Support/OU1=delta/DDT1=BB-NAME/DDV1=KCI/IA=help@xxx.com" where delta is the node name, Support is the folder added above and help@xxx.com is the email address.
4) Scalix reports that it "Added 1 Entry to the Directory"
5) Emailed to help@xxx.com and it gets bounced back with the error message "The attached message was rejected because the Bulletin Board specified does not exist."
When I do a omlistbbs - b I get 1057 BULLITIN BOARD AREA followed by a list of the top level public folders I have added. the Support folder is numbered 138689
I execute ommodacln -t bulletin -b 138689 -g default -c +attach"
I then emailed again to the address and the mail is bounced back with exactly the same error message as before !
Where have I gond wrong ??
Is there an easier way to manage public folder emails other than via the command line ??
Thanx
