Upgrade 11 to 11.0.1 resets tomcat files

Postby les » Tue Feb 06, 2007 9:38 pm

Hi,

Let me say first that the upgrade process is second to none! all my custom edits in various files were preserved. Much better than some other packages i've used in the past.

An observation on the upgrade process.....

the tomcat files in /etc/opt/scalix-tomcat/connector/ .....specificall the instance-yourhostname.conf under the jk and ajp directories do get reset if you have made changes.

Previously i had virtual hosts defined on *:80, but after upgrading they reverted back to <hostname>:80.

No big drama, easy to fix, just thought i would bring it to everyone's attention. It would be great if those settings got preserved also, or maybe noted in the release notes....
Regards,

Les Stott
