Can't login into the SWA.

Postby sshgz » Fri Dec 15, 2006 6:00 am

I have install Scalix 11 RC2.
After i ran : "/etc/init.d/scalix-tomcat restart" i could not login into the SWA.
The error is :
"
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
"

Thanks.

I suspect if you waited a minute or two longer and tried again the login page would appear. Typically it takes a few minutes for tomcat to load even though the command line indicates that it is started immediately.

You are right.

Now i can use the SWA , but when i run "/etc/init.d/scalix-tomcat status" the result is "Instance (mail) is not running".
Is this right?

Thanks.

Hi!

When tomcat runs its pid(process id) is written to:

/var/opt/scalix/<xx>/tomcat/tomcat.pid

Read the contents of this file and see if a process with this id exists.

Thanks,
Subir
