Messages disappearing from deleted items

Hello,

One of the users is reporting that her messages keep on disappearing from the deleted items.
Is there a setting somewhere that allows the deleted items to be cleared periodically? I'm thinking maybe it's activated.

I'm not seeing that option in either scalix web mail or outlook, but it IS in thunderbird...

Is there a command line or SAC way of setting this?
