How to change Internet domain of server

I have installed Scalix server with a fake internet domain - in order to demo it. Everyone loves it and I need to simply convert my demo install into production with all the existing info.

My primary change is to set the Internet domain from "servername.bogus.name.com" to "myrealdomain.com". How do I do this? Are there other issues involved? All the users also need to change from "user@bogus.name.com" to "user@myrealdomain.com". How can I o this, too?

Am I missing something simple and obvious, or do I need to do a full re-install?

This topic has been covered many times on the forum. It is also covered in the admin guide. See the section about sxmodfqdn. Also see the man page for sxmodfqdn.

Having said all of that, however, I'm increasingly of the opinion that a re-install is the way to go. When you uninstall don't delete the message store. When you re-install use the existing message store.
