Limit redirected message size with sxaa?

We use sxaa to redirect and retain messages for one of our users. However when we try to rediect a message larger than 100K to his phone account the mesage is rejected by his carrier. Is there a way to limit the size of the rediected message?

I don't believe you can do this right now, but I'll try to attract the interest of the sxaa developer to add this feature (who is no doubt already on it as I write this).
