Folder Layout

Can anyone share info on preferred folder organization? I'm just rolling out the scalix product to my users and I'd like to know best practices from the get go. I'm concerned with performace over time, as i've noticed that folders with > 10000 messages load *very* slowly, even over a fast connection.

>10000 is a lot of messages. That is a lot of data that has to be read off this disk(s). The best course of action I think would be to have /var/opt/scalix mounted on it's own disks that are as fast as you can get.

You may also get performance gains if you can subcatagorize the public folders as much as possible so each folder doesn't have as many messages.
