Changing login page will doing Backup

Can I change the login page in a page the WAS users have a pages that say in 4 languages that the server is being backuped from that hour until that hour (change Apache configuration and then restart apache)? I do an offline backup with omshut. Or are the snapshots a better solution on RedHat 4.3.

Hi,

You can modify your default error page for error 503 in Apache, to be more informative. Then shut down tomcat during your backups and leave apache runnig. That way when users attempt to access SWA they will see your custom message.
