omaddu + specifie an athentication ID

I would like to have a first name + last name and to create a mail address that only has the last name@mydomain.com an a login ID that is only the last name. Can I do this with omaddu. Bacause he creates a default login ID first.last@mydomain.com?
Or can I change the the userer and add the first name after I create the user only with a lst name specified? And how do you do this?
