Inscrutable sendmail log entries

Postby dschol » Fri Jun 09, 2006 2:37 pm

On pretty much a daily basis, I'm getting log entries like the ones below in my sendmail logs. Does this have anything to do with Scalix and if so, should I be concerned? I'm running Scalix 10 Community Edition on FC4. (I've edited my host name to be foo.bar.com.)

Sorry mate, our resident guru is on holiday so resources are strained. I'll ask you to google:

Transport endpoint is not connected sendmail

If you find the answer please post it. I'll continue looking too as time permits.

Regards,
Don

How much RAM is in your server? What else is running on it? Those types of errors in the extended sendmail logs usually indicate a resource problem on the machine.

Thanks,
Rachel
