Scalix Open Source components available for download

as promised back in July when we announced our Open Source program, we have now made the initial set of components available for source code download.

This includes the Scalix Installer, the REST-based Scalix Messaging Services platform, the Search and Index Server based on Apache Lucene and the Scalix Mobile Web Client.

The released parts are the same codebase that's part of Beta 1 of Scalix 11 that we published a few days ago.

Missing are Scalix Management Services and the Scalix Server. These require further code cleanup. Scalix Management Services will be released asap, Scalix Server will follow to complete our open source stack in Q1/2007. We will also work to provide direct access to our repository for access to the latest checkins, plus contribution policies and other aspects of a full-scale open source project.
