If the BlackBerryAgent process is using too much memory, it can be helpful to split the BES users across multiple BlackBerryAgent processes.
DO THIS AFTER MAKING A COMPLETE BACKUP OF YOUR SYSTEM, INCLUDING THE REGISTRY.
The steps to do the above are as follows:
- go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Agents\
and change or set the following to 2 (up to 5):
"NumAgents" "NumAgentsFullServer"
- Reboot the machine
