Can 11.2 outlook connector work with 11.1 server?

Although someone said the upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2 is very easy, I don't like take the risk of upgrading server. Since we always have outlook connector issue, I just want to upgrade clients' outlook connector to 11.2. But can 11.2 outlook connector work with 11.1 server well?

This configuration is not supported. The server always needs to be newer than the connector.
