I'm running scalix 10.0.1.6 and unfortunately this great server decided to die few days ago and I managed to backup everything.
My problem is I cannot login on the SWA or in the IMAP but works for pop3. I have done the following troubleshooting
turning off and on the lci rci and imap which didn't help
ran omcheck and I found some incorrect permissions and ownership which didn't help
did omscan -Z didn't help too
its resolving properly both forward and reverse lookup
hostname is set correctly which in relation with the forward and reverse.
omstat -a reports everything has started except for Item Structure Server which is stopped.
omstat -s reports everything is started and LCI and RCI are enabled.
I can telnet to pop and imap.
"a BAD LOGIN failed, internal error " is reported when manually logging in to imap thru telnet
there's more than enough free disc space and memory.
the partitions are rw
and all of these didn't work. I'm running out of solutions and I have been digging the forums the entire day
Any more ideas?
