Spam assassin: install/uninstall

We are considering installing the spam assassin software that was supplied with Scalix 11.2.

Both the Set-up Guide (http://www.scalix.com/documents/Scalix_Setup_Guide_11.0.2.pdf) and the Scalix Knowledgebase ("SpamAssassin in a Scalix Environment" http://portal.knowledgebase.net/display/1n/kb/article.asp?aid=126747) provide detailed instructions on how to install spamassassin.

Are there any similar instructions on how to remove spam assassin if we decide to use a different method of dealing with spam?

You don't really need to uninstall it. Simply remove the lines from sendmail.cf that have to do with SpamAssassin. Then it is no longer in the picture.
