Hi folks,
thanks for getting back into the groove and releasing the Office-2007 compatible connector.
Things were working great, except for a few details - for one, folders only update when I click on another folder and then back on the original one. Read/unread status, same, and it *could* be quicker (I did a full sync of everything, including large messages, initially). This is minor, though, it's usable just fine.
The major issue I'm having is that I cannot shutdown Outlook cleanly anymore. Each time I try (either with the X button or file/exit, no change), the application becomes unresponsive and the window does not get redrawn (i.e. it has white "holes" where other windows in front of it were). It does not, however, trigger Windows to ask whether you want to kill it or not. When I right-click the app on the task bar and select "exit", then it does show the "force outlook to quit" message with a progress bar, which works. Not great, though, my users won't be happy.
However, I have previously tried to set up Outlook 2007 with the previous connector according to some forum posts, and set up the MAPISVC.INF with values posted there. Could this be my problem (the file did not exist before at all)?
Any help is appreciated. Running 11.2-GA Community edition, Server is FC7, freshly installed with all updates, Message store was imported and upgraded from our 10.0.x installation. Client OS is Windows XP SP2.
Regards,
Simon.
