I have followed your howto on using postfix for the main MTA but im experiencing some difficulties, i wonder if you can help. I am using the latest version of scalix 11 and Fedora core 5. I previously was using sendmail as the main MTA with amavis-milter for spam/virus scanning.
I used yum install postfix and system-switch-mail. moved the listening port on scalix. However saslauth does not seem to be pulling the user info from LDAP and i get a deffered for email waiting to be delivered, email i send just gets put into the drafts folder. Is there anyway to test the saslauthd configuration to ensure its working correctly?
