Postgres Issues

I am having to restart postres multiple times a day, the webmail clients are showing new messages in the inbox but not seeing the messages till they logout, I restart postgres and they log back in.

I am running RHEL5
DL380 G4 Raid1
2gb Ram

Hi,

RHEL5 is not officially supported yet (I think, maybe this has changed already).

What Scalix version are you running? Sounds like it might be some sort of indexing related problem, do you have any Premium user licenses to test with Outlook those same boxes?

You might want to check the posts on this forum (or on the Scalix documentation) about indexing, you can remove the current indexes and re-build (all this is based on the assumption that you're running Scalix 11.x).

I solved it,

1. Removed the whole scalix server
2. Left email-store in place but deleted all anything postgres
3. Reinstalled
4. Everything is working fine now.
