Workaround for out of office behaviour?

I'd like to forward mail directed to one person to their colleague whilst they're on leave. The delegate access function doesn't seem to provide this.

Is there any way to achieve this without editing sendmail configuration itself?

the workaround I can see (quite laborious) is to rename user to user1 and create a group named user with members user1 and colleague

Ideas?

You can use sxaa or the Scalix Rules Wizard to redirect mail to a different user.
sxaa is part of the Admin Resource Kit, see :
