Installation time for 10 to 11

Does anyone have an estimated time of how long it takes to run the update from Scalix 10.0.1 to 11.0.1 as long as all goes well?

Hi JoC,

This varies on the setup you have, with us it took over six hours to back up a 150 GB mailstore (/var/opt/scalix) to an external USB-drive. But this is not actually part of the update, a necessary thing though if you wish to make sure you can go back in case of a failed update.

The actual update took about three hours, this included re-writing the Exchange LDAP sync script (we are sync'ing to an MS Exchange server in another location), I'd say that you can get around with less than two hours if you have a basic setup and it all goes 'by the book'.
