omtidyu issue

I am having issues using the omtidyu command. I want to run this command on jhall@mydomain.com
omtidyu -M -u username[/mailnode]

So I enter: omtidyu -M –u jhall
And it returns this “The supplied user name is not known on this machineâ€

USE "First Name Lastname" and you can use a -B switch so you are not prompted with a password

Right after I run the omtidyu -M –u command it goes thought all the boxes and the last line was Scalix Recovered Items: 332 items
