Smarthost and Scalix 11.0.3 on OpenSuse 10.2

I installed Scalix 11.0.3 on OpenSuse 10.2. Everything seems to be working fine with the exception of how it interacts with sendmail. I have a smarthost defined in my sendmail.cf. If I send an email from the command line it goes through the smart host. If I send an email from Scalix (SWA) it does not go through the smarthost and does not appear to go through sendmail at all. I tried recreating my sendmail file using M4 and then running omsendin to no avail. On another scalix box I can see an entry for Scalix SMTP Relay in the email headers, on this OpenSuse 10.2 box I do not see that in the headers. Does 11.0.3 still relay through sendmail?

Anybody have this working on OpenSuse 10.2? Where can I find more information on how this is supposed to work? Any reason why Scalix would not send outbound email through sendmail?

do a lsof -i:25 and post output

you should see

Bump. Still an issue. Any help would be appriciated. Everything seems to work fine from the Outlook connector but sending through SWA does not go through sendmail.
