Error 403 Access forbidden! (SUSE 10.1)

Postby Trial-User » Wed Feb 28, 2007 5:07 am

Hi,
I try to test Scalix on SUSE Linux 10.1.
- Apache v.2.2.0-21.7

I downloaded the 60days Trial-Version and followed the instructions given by the Evaluation guide. Everything worked fine.
But if i type the url into my browser i get the 403 error message:

Firefox:
Acess forbidden!

Code: Select all

You don't have permission to access the requested directory. There is either ...

Apache2 error.log:

Code: Select all

[Tue Feb 27 16:59:56 2007] [error] [client 172.20.70.53] Directory index forbidden by Options directive: /srv/www/htdoc/

How do i have to modify my apache configuration?

Rerun the installer and reconfigure the apache-tomcat connector. sounds like that's where your problem lies.

Also check to make sure that tomcat is only running once.

/etc/init.d/scalix-tomcat stop
killall -9 java
/etc/init.d/scalix-tomcat start

Kev.
