Postby kanderson » Mon Feb 05, 2007 10:16 pm

Does anyone know what this means?

What is the command to look up an om error?

Thanks in advance.
Kev.

You're looking for omsolve -n OM 8930

In this case the full message is

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error Group: OM Error Number: 8930

X.3.0 Other or undefined mail system status

The destination system exists and normally accepts mail, but
something about the system has caused the generation of this
DSN.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've found these messages to be misleading sometime. I suggest checking your sendmail logs for the proper DSN message.

Strangely, Sendmail shows the message going through with no problem, and the recipient confirms this.

Oh well. There much be SOME config error on that box somewhere... I'll poke around further.

Kev.
