Cannot disable Read / Sent Response Requests

Hi;

It appears that it's impossible to disable read / sent requests either by using outlook or by using the web client.

I have set "Never Send a Response" under Outlook / Tools / Options / Email Options / Tracking Options, yet responses are still being sent ??

Is it possible to disable this globally as it as unnecessary waste of bandwith !

Hi,
I had tried with outlook2003 but not able to reproduce that same issue, I am able to disable the read receipt by uncheck the read receipt option under Outlook / Tools / Options / Email Options / Tracking Options. All the three responses are specific for the Internet account. So if you uncheck the read receipt most probably you will disable this feature in OL2003.

Yes, you can physically un-select them, but the read / delivered receipts are still sent, whether it is checked or un-checked ?!

Can you please post me screen shots in pm what actually the setting are in the Outlook / Tools / Options / Email Options / Tracking Option , and also let me know the version of Outlook and Outlook connector and Scalix server.

I have the same problem. I'm using Outlook 2002 SP3 german with the newest Connector and Scalix server version (11.0.2)
Is there any way to disable it globally?

In addition, I get all receipts in English. Where can I set the laguage of the receipt? Or can I change the mail body text in general?

Hi!

Recipients language could be altered using the command ommodu, look for -l option in man
pages.

For read receipt issue try to change the flag swa.allusers.forceReadReceipts in the file
/var/opt/scalix/??/webmail/swa.properties.
