The management console login problem

1. I using user name to login the sac, how can I change the default setting that can use

domian to login sac ?

2. And I assigned a user to group manager, but that user cannot login to sac.

When you do omshowu -m all, one line of the output will look like:

sxadmin /hostname/CN=username

Where hostname is the hostname of your machine. And username is the name that you used during the insatall and what you should logon to sac with.

I mean after completed installation that I can use sxadmin@domainname.com to login

sac, I don't know changed what in management console to caused the login

authentication only using sxadmin to login, how can I change back using

sxadmin@domainname.com to login ?

One more question:

I edited the account named leiw and assiged the full administrator permission to him,

but leiw account cannot login sac.

Only the user described in the sxadmin line of omshowu can logon to sac.

Why don't you just use sxadmin?

Because I need the scalix server to host virtual domain (around 10), so all users

need the domain name login to authencation.

I mean if there have two domain (abc.com and xyz.com), those two domain have

user named peter, how can I setup virtual domain ?

(perter@abc.com and peter@xyz.com), and how they can authentication when

logging in for virtual domain ?

To log into SAC you must use the authentication ID of the user with admin privledges. You can see this with

omshowu -n "user name"

You can change the auth id with ommodu (see the man page) or the SAC.

I can use sxadmin to login SAC without domain name, I want who have admin

privledges to login SAC with domain name, how can I do that with omshowu?

In SAC, click on the user, then click the "Advanced" tab. Whatever is in "Authentication ID:" is what they logon with.

Ok, I can found the authentication ID for SAC login authentication, how about webmail

login authentication ? because I want setup mupite domain but I don't know how to setup

mupite domain on Scalix.

e.g. peter@abc.com and peter@xyz.com
