setup smtp and pop3 in scalix

Hello

I want to retrive email from my ISP from my pop3 account there
and when i get them i want to send email back using smtp with autenticate like im doing today with my microsoft exchange 2003

is there a way to set it up in scalix
using scalix preview 11 community

I sounds like you're looking for "SMTP after POP" where, within a period of time after a user signs in through POP, the same user can submit without needing to authenticate again.

Scalix doesn't provide this feature so you need to configure your POP clients to explicitly authenticate each time.

is there another way to set up scalix is mail server usin DNS to send email
lets say i have static IP and domain name, how can i make scalix a mail server throw that with Auth sending and receiveing so i wont send spam fromm my accounts
