Recover mail sent to an empty group?

We recently set up a group used as the contact e-mail for the deployment of one of our products, however we neglected to add any actuall mailboxes to the group. Is there any way to recover messages sent to the group address?

So if I understand you correctly, you had setup a PDL with an external address (maybe info@domain.com) and did not add any members to it. If that is the case, the message would not have been delivered. Can you please check the ENU account (sxadmin) for any of those, but I believe those message should have actually bounced.

None of our test messages were in the sxadmin account, and as of this writing (approximately 24 hours later) the test messages have not bounced either. Is there any information in the log that would indicate who attempted to send mail to that address?

Hi,

If you use omshowlog you should see some warnings that there was mail destined to an empty PDL.
