duplicate email

I just wanna know if this is possible.

I have a running scalix server and I want to setup another scalix for backup just incase scalix encounter hardware failure. My questions is can I duplicate emails from my box and send it to backup server. e.g. scalix is hosting foo.com domain and if someone email to admin@foo.com, it will deliver to scalix server and will also send a copy to backup server?

Would that be possible?

Not sure if you can get this working with the community version of Scalix as envisaged but there may be other ways of doing this. You could use mail archiving software or you could setup a backup Scalix server and rsync the data store at regular intervals. MailArchiva has a community version that works with Scalix but retrieving, importing and exporting mail is cumbersome compared to their licensed version.

If you are a paying customer and have shared storage high availability is available in the Enterprise version of Scalix.

I'm not using Enterprise. I guess I should go for rsync.
