Apache Tomcat Native library not found, port 8009-8019 busy

Hi,

My scalix server (11.3.0.77-1 on CentOS5) seems not be working :cry:
I can access apache (http://localhost/) but not the scalix web interfaces http://localhost/webmail or http://localhost/sac. 404 page not found is the result.

Maybe I found a hint in /var/opt/scalix/ml/tomcat/logs/catalina.2008-08-24.log:

What can the reason be for:
- Apache Tomcat Native library not found
- port busy

What does lsof show you is on that port?

The ports 8009..8019 are not used.
Maybe the reason can be:

If I restart tomcat I get no output about the JRE_HOME. Maybe this can be a reason?

Nope, my working server says the same thing - I ignore it, as it's INFO.

Unfortunately lsof -i:8009 do not show any open files too.

And the

The missing specification for JRE_HOME can be the reason?

After some days and severe reboots now all working fine again.
I swor: I didn't change anything.

As mentioned above - wether Tomcat native library nor the empty JRE_HOME: are the reasons.

Only the bussy ports are the reason.
