Scalix collect emails from POP3 then distribute locally???

Postby jason_k » Sun Mar 30, 2008 8:40 pm

I don't know which topic this should be in, but here goes.

I have just finished installing CentOS 5.1 in a VMware Virtual Machine, and installed Scalix 11.3 for testing.
It's working like a charm.

One thing that I can't seem to find any info about, is whether you can configure Scalix to poll an ISP POP3 account for mail, download it and then re-distribute according to the "TO:" address?

It is for a small business that receives a fair bit of mail, and the internet connection can get a bit flakey at points, so I don't want to have mail bouncing back to the sender if the server is offline.

At the moment we are using a free windows based POP3 solution that does it, but it's getting to the point where we need a proper groupware solution, like Scalix.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Jason
