BBerry -> Outlook -> Scalix Calendar funny

Postby AdrianChapman » Tue Feb 19, 2008 11:05 am

All,

We've got the route working through from BlackBerry (Pearl 8310) through Outlook (2003 on XP) via BBDM 4.2SP2, through to Scalix 11.3, and everything appears to synch quite happily backwards and forwards.

BUT...

If I enter a calendar item on the BlackBerry, it appears quite happily on Outlook and in SWA.

It doesn't appear at all in Sunbird (0.7) or Lightning (0.7 in T'bird 2.0.0.6) via CalDAV, though.

If I manually go to the CalDAV URL, the event shows in the list, but clicking on it gives...

Code: Select all

500 InternalServerError

com.scalix.api.dav.store.MailboxStore.getContent(MailboxStore.java:528)

org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:188)

Editing the event in Outlook or SWA seems to "fix" it, and it'll show through to Sunbird/Lightning, and the correct details will show when clicking it in the CalDAV list.

Thoughts? My gut feel is that there's some field which isn't being populated "quite right" on the BBerry synch'd entry, but is being when saved. Outlook's managing it correctly, the Scalix Outlook connector's managing it correctly, but the CalDAV conversion is being a bit stricter. Once those fields, whatever they may be, are populated correctly, the CalDAV filter's playing.

<Edit: Any entries changed in SWA goes back to Outlook as a duplicate, not an amendment. Eugh. Not nice at all.>
