yeah i meant what Florian said. We want to disable pop so that ppl should not be able to download mails but there should be able to read mails.

One Silly Question where are all the mails that the users send stored, whats the exact path for the directory?

I want to backup and also see the mails that are sent and recieved from my scalix server how do i do it?

The exact storage structure is pretty complex, but for all practical means, you should probably backup the whole of /var/opt/scalix

Try googling "scalix backup", you'll find plenty of material and links to various backup strategies and products.

Thanks but what about seeing the mails that are leaving n coming from scalix server, how do i see that?

This would be possible using the Archiving interface. Please note that as of Scalix 11.3, this will only be available for Small Business and Enterprise Edition. See the Admin Guide for details.

adding this line to general.cfg file would not produce any results for archiving?

ARCHIVE=bcc:email@doamin.com

currently i added this line in my general.cfg but no mail of my server is received in the account i set in "bcc:email@domain.com" path and yes i used a valid email account there.

Is this also true for the archive - bcc function (ARCHIVE=bcc:archive@example.com)?
We use this function for our 3 users as a simple way to receive all incoming and outgoing mails on an external webmailer as we do not want open our server to the world.

This would be a sad news for us.

this feature aint working for me so i think it is true, im sad too :( . But still i wud wait for someone to confirm this.

lol not reboot but i forgot to add the entry

ARCHIVE=TRUE in general.cfg file i added this and restarted archiver n serice router and it worked.

I got 2 questions guys.

1>> when i assign delegates to my calendar they cannot view my calendar why is it so i tried it by assigning premium users and standard users its aint working, is there any specific to use it?

2>> Can i hide the "to" field from emails that are recievded by the users?

Hi

Yes you can hide the to field and the cc field. Just use the BCC field.
