debian packages broken?

I am trying to install scalix onto my Ubuntu 7.04 machine but I get the following when trying to install the tomcat component:

$ sudo dpkg -i scalix-tomcat_5.5.16-263_all.deb

I had problems installing on Debian Etch. After some hard core googling I found this script that helped me dramatically:

You might have to make a few mods to the script though but I ran the script and.....BAM......it was up and running.
