help from zero

hello , i am new in the scalix, if you can help with guide to practice i apreciatte.

i have one ser with scalix 11 on centos 6. I dont know anything about the server , only have the emails accounts. @intercilsa.com.ec
i need recover the mailbox of two users.

i try to log in SAC with the ip address
192.168.0.200/sac or ns.intercilsa.com.ec/sac but only apache say page dont found.

where start to access or obtein the configuration.

second problem, i found this command

omsearch -s -m G/I/S/CN/IA-FORMAL ; and found the users and the mailboxs

after try to export the mailbox into a mbox with this comand
sxmboxexp -u username -a /output_directory/output_filename.mbox -F

in this point recover the files, but i dont know how tranform to pst or other email client.

Hi,

please run following commands your server
check http service status.
# service httpd status
# service httpd start (if apache is off)

Check apache coniguration
# apachectl configtest

also check http logs in the directory /var/log/httpd/*

If possible try to up the server, then you can configure those user profile to export mails in pst file using outlook with scalix connector or outlook with imap configuration.

Or various third party tools available in market to convert mbox file into pst.

thanks for your message ... only one question where i can found the configuration of the imap..
i can conect the server on lan??

for example
in imap server use a private ip 192.168.0.200/ and port. ?

Hello,

Yes, you can connect the server on lan.

The following information will help you to configure outlook using imap.

* Email address --You scalix email address
* Username for login -- Your scalix email address or the auth id
* Password for login --Your scalix password
* Account type: IMAP
* Name of the server for incoming mail (e.g. imap.provider.com)
--FQDN / IP of your Scalix Server, Port: 143
* Name of the server for outgoing mail (e.g. smtp.provider.com)
--FQDN/ IP of your Scalix server, Port: 25
