Supported on Centos 7?

Hello there,

have you done any testing on the early releases of Centos 7 to see if Scalix is supportable? particularly with an X86_64 installation.. as I know we need to install a few 32-bit libraries for Scalix, which makes it a bit more involved.

Additionally - as the 'community' release is 32-bit only , is there a safe upgrade path if I move from a community release to one of the 'paid-for' versions - if I wanted to move onto x86_64 version?

thx

Hi,
CentOS 7 is still not on Supported OS list for Scalix 12.

All scalix editions including community edition run as 32 bit application on both 32 and 64 bit OS.
Upgrading from community edition to any paid edition involves applying the correct license only.

We already have an old community version of Scalix running on Fedora 4, but to test this distribution I wanted to install on Centos (6.3).
First problem after installing dependencies was inability to find Java (I had installed Java of course) Scalix reported "Cannot execute java -version"

To answer myself - it's supported on 12.5

RHEL 7 (x86_64), ORACLE Linux 7 (x86_64) and CentOS 7 (x86_64) are now officially supported.

Does anyone have documented installation procedures for CentOS? I have followed the install instructions from the Pacsone website but I am not sure about some of the permissions settings.
