I think jimtombari is onto something. A lot of the posts on this forum about poor SWA speed has been due to Postgres not running. I know the service is running, but I'm not certain it is running correctly ;). Thanks to everyone who is helping.

50% CPU is really pretty high. i've got top running on ours and it's not been above 6%. When I press "t" to sort by cpu untilization top is taking 3%.

jimtombari you are a genius. I have 2 network cards in my system, on for private and one for public. The private ip was in those files, the public ip (which I was using to log in) was not. Once I added it to the file and restarted the services, it loaded in seconds. Thank you very much for your help.

Updated the Postgres Client Authentication
modified the file /var/opt/scalix/NN/postgres/data/pg_hba.conf.

host scalix scalix 172.17.7.253/32 md5

........As soon as I made these changes and rebooted SWA speed was great.

Similar issue for me, I have two IPs in there, should I remove 127.0.0.1 ???:

Code: Select all

# List of Scalix Platform hosts begins here
host    scalix      scalix      192.168.1.249/32   md5
host    scalix      scalix      127.0.0.1/32   md5
# List of Scalix Platform hosts ends here
# PostgreSQL Client Authentication Configuration File
# ===================================================
