Sure:

I used the CN (last name only) rifkin
this is the same ID I use to login using IMAP
Then I use the AD password.

Remember password not checked

Log on using Secure Password Authentication not checked.

I'm having problems trying to reproduce what you are seeing.

If you create a new profile and sign on to another mailbox, does the same problem occur ?
